Prince William has whisked Catherine away for a romantic Easter skiing holiday.
The Royal Couple, who have been separated by thousands of miles of ocean over the last few weeks, are making up for lost time in the snow-covered Alps.
The Royal Couple have joined Catherine’s family at a ski resort in France, where they are enjoying the mountainous air and fantastic skiing conditions.
Prince William who has been on duty in the Falkland Islands, where he was part of an RAF helicopter team, only returned to the UK at the end of March.
While William was away, his new wife has been busy with numerous solo engagements. The young Duchess has made visits to her various patronages, where on one occasion she made her first public speech.
The Duchess of Cambridge has also accompanied The Queen on two public engagements. Catherine joined The Queen on a visit to Fortnum and Mason, along with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and also accompanied The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh on their visit to Leicester, as part of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee UK Royal Tour.
William and Kate, who have been married for almost a year, both have a passion for skiing. In fact, it was on the ski slopes that the couple were first photographed kissing, back in 2006.
Last year the Royal Couple cancelled a skiing holiday over fears that is was felt inappropriate during the recession.
