Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided to invite 100 lucky golden ticket winners to be part of their Royal wedding on Friday 29th April 2011.
The happy couple have recreated the classic Roald Dahl book Charlie and the Chocolate factory style “Golden Ticket”.
The lucky winners will be invited to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey and the reception which is rumoured to be held at Buckingham Palace.
However there is a catch….. the winners will be only be officially allowed to go after they have passed the strict security checks due to the amount of world-leader and royalty that will be at the wedding.
According to The Sun “William and Kate wanted the British people involved at a deeper level than simply holding street parties”.
Unlike Charlie and the Chocolate factory where you had to purchase chocolate bars, the public will have to wait to see if they are lucky enough to be selected by random selection and get a “golden ticket” through the post.
