Prince William’s Royal Duties

Prince William began his royal duties at the age of 21 when he was appointed Counsellor of state and accompanied his father on a royal tour around Wales.

Since turning 21, William has travelled to New Zealand to participate in the World War II commemorations, has been interviewed for The Prince’s Trust, and has opened the 21st World Scout Jamboree with The Duke of Kent.

More recently, Prince William toured Auckland and Wellington on behalf of his mother, and opened a new building of The Supreme Court of New Zealand.
